The T20 Blind World Cup 2017 winner is team India. The final match was played between India and Pakistan on 12th February 2017 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. India had also hosted and won the T20 world cup for the blind in 2012.

Highlights of the T20 Blind World Cup 2017:

  • Winning the toss, Pakistan Captain Muhammad Jamil elected to bat and set a score of 198/8 in 20 overs.
  • Babar Munir and Jamil scored 57 and 24 runs each.
  • In the second innings, India batted superbly and won by nine wickets scoring 200/1 in 17.4 overs.
  • The highest score of the match was 99 made by Jayaramaiah, which made India win the match.
  • Ketan Patel and Jaffer of India took two wickets each.

Pakistan won 10 consecutive matches in the tournament. They set a world record of posting highest runs in a T20 match (373/4 against West Indies).
