kalikho pul became 9th chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh . On February 19, Kalikho Pul took administrative oath as 9th chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh from Governor J. P. Rajkhowa.

Key Points of Arunachal Pradesh Assembly:

  • Of 60 seats of state assembly Kalikho Pul has got support from 40 assembly members. There were 27 support from Congress, 11 from BJP and 2 from independent legislators. BJP has supported from the outside.
  • The Supreme Court lifted the President’s rule applied from January 26, 2016 on 19th February.
